The Campbell River Immigrant Welcome Centre is winding up its 20th anniversary year with a pot luck celebration Wednesday Nov. 21.
Shannon Briggs, the Centre’s diversity projects coordinator, says: “Bring a dish of food and share tastes from around the world.” The event being held in the Robron Centre gymnasium begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6.
Live entertainment will include Filipino and other ethnic dancing, music by the Fiftieth Parallel and kids activities including a dress-up fashion show by Howling Good Costumes.
