Hope for Campbell River caregivers

Caregiving for a person with dementia can be extremely challenging for Campbell River families

Caregiving for a person with dementia can be extremely challenging for Campbell River families, both physically and emotionally.

But there is hope.

“By educating yourself about dementia and learning caregiving techniques, you have the ability to maintain quality of life for both you and the person you are caring for,” says Hope.

That education can begin with a free Family Caregiver Workshop on Friday, Aug. 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Campbell River Community Centre’s Room 2. Pre-registration is required. For information and to register contact 1-800-462-2833 or jhope@alzheimerbc.org.
