Grandmothers Group seeks support

On Thursday, Nov. 1, Canadian grandmothers and “grand-others” will be gathering across the country

On Thursday, Nov. 1, Canadian grandmothers and “grand-others” will be gathering across the country to send a united message to Parliament Hill: pass Bill C-398. The Campbell River Grandmothers Advocacy Network, is urging community groups and individuals to join them at Spirit Square to participate in this national event.

Bill C-398 is a humanitarian bill designed to make affordable generic versions of essential medicines available to the world’s poor. Canada’s grandmothers care deeply about Bill C -398 because they are convinced it can save thousands of lives.
