BJ Brown, the first golfer off the first tee in the first annual Cameryn’s Cause for Kids Society Golf Tournament, held Aug. 22 at Sequoia Springs Golf Course, striped a drive down the fairway to put his team in a good position (at least for the next shot) in the best ball format. 124 golfers registered for the tournament, which organizers hoped would raise around $10,000 for the society, which helps families whose children are in health crises with some of the financial burden involved in travel and treatment.
