Are you ready to strut your stuff and celebrate Canada’s birthday on July 1?
Don’t miss your chance! The deadline for applications to be in the parade is this Saturday.
“We are very excited about the amazing celebrations that Campbell River is organizing for our community,” says Judy Shepley, the volunteer organizer, who’s leading the charge on the parade. “Last year was a huge success and we’re building on that momentum to make this year an even better experience for everyone!”
A new website (crcanadaday.com) hosts details for Campbell River’s Canada Day. There’s a section for sponsors and merchants who want to participate in the event as well as the application form to participate in the parade.
Just go to the website, click on the event tab, then the parade tab and check out how to get your float in this year’s parade. The parade route, and all the rules and regulations are there as well.
Shepley also reminds potential participants that this year the prizes are even bigger.
Call Shepley at 250-287-9184. Return completed applications via e-mail to jshepley@viic.ca or to cathy@whatsondigest.com
