City seeks a new generation of leaders

The Campbell River Recreation and Culture Department is recruiting enthusiastic youth

Volunteer in a fun environment.

The Campbell River Recreation and Culture Department is recruiting enthusiastic youth for its fall Leaders in Training program.

The Leaders in Training program is a fun, well-established leadership development program for youth over the age of 13.

The program focuses on helping youth grow as leaders through a combination of training and work experience.

All the leaders in training will work with knowledgeable staff and are able to volunteer in their area of interest, choosing from among the many programs offered for all ages by Campbell River Recreation and Culture. So if you enjoy dance or sports or want to make a city out of cardboard for National Children’s day, we have an opportunity that will work for you!

The fall registration deadline of Oct. 5 is approaching fast, and space will be limited. Pick up applications from the Campbell River Community Centre or the Sportsplex. Questions? Contact recreation programmer Kevin Elmore at the Campbell River Community Centre (250-286-1161).
