The Black Creek Community Centre has several upcoming events and workshops to keep you busy.

  • BCCA AGM – Thurs, March 29  at 7 p.m.

The BCCA is preparing for its annual AGM. There will once again be a discussion panel that will dive into humorous conversation about the past and future of Black Creek and the BCCA. The focus will be on why people choose to be in and stay in Black Creek and the effect of our changing society on both the role of community and volunteerism.

Attendees can enjoy a dessert buffet and the entertainment of the Fretted Friends (our resident ukulele group). The discussion panel will then share their reflections and thoughts.

  • Body Rolling Workshop

Join Yoga Instructor Nancy Moelaert for a three hour workshop that will introduce you to this therapeutic exercise. Body Rolling stretching is weight-bearing. It starts by stimulating bone and works the entire muscle’s length, including the tendons. Body Rolling uses a four to 10 inch ball to increases blood flow, promotes healing and realign your body. Sat., March 31, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Black Creek Community Centre. Fee: $35
