The Museum at Campbell River will host author and columnist Christine Scott on Saturday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m. 

Scott will deliver a talk entitled Wild Bird Enjoyment 101 and will focus on the backyard birds of this region. Scott describes the talk as a “safari into the backyard to enjoy a casual chat-style info-session on the basics of bird-watching – one of North America’s most popular nature activities.”

Learn how to get a handle on bird identification, feeder types and hanging tips, how to attract birds to your yard, binocular choices and bird photo hints.
