Chameleon Creative has been sold to Broadview Strategy Group, a public and government relations firm with offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax and, now, Campbell River.
“We are very excited to be working with the Chameleon Creative team. We love their work and so do our clients. Broadview’s plan is to grow its sales and expand its service offerings to provide comprehensive marketing solutions to clients,” said John Laforet, owner of Broadview.
The entire team at Chameleon Creative will remain in place, with Xavier Barbot to continue as managing director. Chameleon, a website development firm, will continue to operate as a separate company.
“This is a very exciting time for Chameleon. We are looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead, and building a bigger team here in Campbell River,” said Barbot.
Broadview is planning to invest resources into building sales and project management capacity for Chameleon in Toronto and Halifax and continuing to develop the creative design and programming team in Campbell River.
Noting the strength of Campbell River’s local economy, Broadview is also committed to expanding its own local client base.
“Campbell River is an exciting place to invest and grow,” said Laforet. “I expect Broadview will be expanding to Campbell River in the coming months as well, creating local jobs and working with businesses, associations and other organizations.”
Broadview works with aquaculture clients in Atlantic Canada and has experience working with Ontario’s tourism and resource sectors including forestry and energy.
