Victor, Hernan (Chico)

Born February 5th, 1942 in Chile, South America, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 5th, 2005 at the Campbell River Hospital. Victor is predeceased by his father Mateo and brother Edgardo in Chile. He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia of 37 years, their children Victoria (Trevor), Pancho (Sherri), Chano (Lorene) and his two special grandchildren Summur and River. He will be sadly missed by his entire family, his good friends, co-workers, DART team and especially his hunting partners.

Vic came to Campbell River in 1967 worked in the pulp mill for 9 years then for M&B as a great road builder. Semi-retired, he enjoyed life to the fullest leaving everyone with fond memories. Victor was a talented loving man who gifted us with his special presence that filled any room he walked into. His laugh will never be forgotten. He created a home that was full of love, laughter and warmth. His spirit and memories that he leaves with us will always surround us.

A Celebration of Victor’s life will take place at the Elks Lodge on December 18th, 2005 at 12:00 noon.

For those wishing donations in Victor’s memory may be made to a charity of choice with appreciation.
