In Loving Memory of

Stuart D. McEachren

May 19, 1942 - August 11, 2008


Passed away suddenly at the age of 66 in Campbell River, BC.

Stuart leaves behind his partner Marion Atkinson, her son Wayne (Coral), and her mother Marilyn. His children Drew (Mallory) and Andrea (Gordon) and grandchildren Davan, Aria, Brookley, Nikita, McKenna, Keaton, and his stepmother Helen. His sister Maureen (Ricardo) and nephew Tracy (Kathy) and their children Sean, Tamina, Darylann.

Stuart was born May 19, 1942 in Victoria, BC and spent his childhood in Surrey. He began his career with Crown Zellerbach; Ocean Falls. He arrived in Campbell River in the early 1960's to work at the Elk Falls Mill. His drive and ambition enabled him to achieve the position of shift engineer at the Steam Plant, from which he retired in the late 1990's.

His passion for firearms was a driving force in his life and he was a longstanding member of the National Firearms Association. In retirement he began to devote more time to Competitive shooting (IPSC)

Stuart also had a great love and respect for the ocean and the people connectecd with it. He was often found on the docks of Campbell River or on his boat or meeting with any number of his friends.

A Celebration of Stuart's life will be held Sunday August 17, 2008 1:00p.m. Masonic Hall, 2905 Island Highway, Campbell River, BC. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Stuart's name to the National Firearms Association.
