Stan
Passed away May 11th, 2002 in Campbell River at the age of 85. Born September 1st, 1916 in Chmielonek, Poland, Stan moved to Canada in 1948 after serving in the Polish Army during World War II. He lived in Ontario before moving to British Columbia where he worked for Crown Zellerbach Ocean Falls and then in Campbell River. Stan was an avid gardener and his kindness and generosity will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Stan is survived by his wife, Justyne, daughter Theresa (John) Nicolussi, grandchildren Rebecca & Kyle, daughter Debbie, brother Alexander in Poland, and many nieces and nephews.
Prayers were held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish at 7:00p.m. Thursday May 16th. Funeral Service to be held at 10a.m. Friday, May 17 at 34 S. Alder St., Campbell River, BC.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Campbell River General Hospital Women’s Auxiliary for the Beautification of the Sunshine Lodge project would be greatly appreciated.
