Molly DECOSSE

September 25, 2006

DECOSSE,

Molly

1931~2006

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my dear Molly on September 25, 2006 at St. Josephs Hospital in Comox, BC. She is survived by her husband Leonard, her sister Mae Hanson (Arnie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Molly Marikao Decosse (nee Nishimazuru) was born on the family homestead in Broxburn Alberta in May 1931 and was raised as one of eleven children. She continued on to graduate from the Galt Business College as a bookkeeper before moving out into the greater world.

In her 25 years of living in the Comox Valley Molly touched many lives with her incredible strength and soft smile. She was entirely dedicated as a volunteer to the auxiliary gift and thrift shop and the E.C.U., the Legion and the Comox Lions Club. Molly was usually on the go seven days a week. There are no words to describe what Molly meant to so many people.

At Molly’s request there will be a private cremation and no service. She asks that those who knew her remember her in their own way.

Thank you to all of the staff at S. Josephs for your kindness and compassion, not only recently but over the many years of knowing Molly. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
