It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Mark (Kim) Ridgway. Kim died at home surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his father Walter and his sisters Phyllis and Dawn. He leaves behind his mother Marie, wife Judy; children Karalee (Bob), James (Sarah), Melanie (Andrew); grandchildren Jacob Mikaila, Noah, Sierra, Matthew, Jonah, David, Ben and Hailey, brothers, John (Bernneice) and Ken (Darlene), sisters Ann (Norm) and Melody (Doug) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kim was an avid outdoorsman. Many hunting and fishing stories were relived with his best buddy, Bob, over coffee. Kim was an elder with the North Island Metis and was very proud of his Metis culture and heritage. Kim’s deep faith and love for his Lord shone through him and touched all those he came in contact with as he lived his faith daily. He is finally pain free and walking with his Lord!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 11am at Discovery Community Church, 250-10th Ave. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the BC Children’s Hospital or the Alberta Children’s Hospital as both were very dear to Kim’s heart.
