Kinch,

Kristopher Millton

Died suddenly on Jan. 5, 2009 at the age of 40 years in Montreal, Quebec. He is predeceased by his mother Betty Kinch (1993) and father Terry Kinch (1983). Born March 23, 1968 in Quesnel, BC. Kris is survived by his long time partner Iman Wicaksono, sister Kelly (Kinch) McAneeley, nephews Ryan (14 yrs) and Jared (6 yrs) McAneeley, his “Montreal Family” and countless friends around the world. Kris was an adventurer that lived life to the fullest without reservation.

Kris grew up (1 yrs – 18 yrs) in CR, attending Discovery Passage, Phoenix, and Carihi. He moved to Montreal in 1986, right out of high school, to attend McGill University. Kris taught English as a second language for many years in Korea and in Taipai. Kris also ran Asia Pacific, a business sending teachers to Asia. In 2000 Kris returned to Canada and lived in Vancouver so he could be close to his nephews. Kris had an interest in old maps which he was able to turn into a little business selling them over the Internet. In 2005 Kris moved to Bali. Two years later Kris returned to Montreal to teach high school and most recently at university.

Kris was able to give the ultimate gift. Both of his kidneys were given to needy recipients, so from our tragedy, comes life. He will be sadly missed by all he befriended and loved.

May his spirit be fulfilled as his journey continues.

All my Love, Kelly.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
