Francis (Frank) Vincent
June 11th, 1945- Nov. 24th, 2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father Frank Keatings. Frank passed away peacefully on November 24th, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Helen Keatings. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Lori (Steve) Ballard, & Kelli (Peter) Dickie, and his grandchildren Michael, Travis & Jillissa, and Brittany, Karlyn & Clark. He is also survived by his sisters Mae (Jack) Selvage and Elaine (Peter) Derry. Frank was born in Scotland and immigrated to Toronto as a youngster. He was a gifted athlete and attended St. Michael’s where he pursued his passion for hockey. He relocated to Campbell River with his family in 1977, and developed his second passion, fishing. Frank worked at Elk Falls Mill until his retirement. Frank was a generous man with a kind heart and loved his family dearly. He loved traveling, and his grandchildren will cherish the memories of their trips to Mexico with him.
A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held on December 4th, 2010, from 2-4 pm at 654 Cambridge Drive. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice. Condolences to the family may be left at www.suttonsfuneralhome.com.
