born January 19th, 1909 at Disley, Saskatchewan, died September 30th, 2002 in Campbell River, B.C.

May had a long and active life and she made many friends along the way. She grew up on the Prairies and spent the early years of her adult life there. She moved to B.C. in 1941 where she lived in Ocean Falls for a short time, she them moved to Price Rupert. after living in Prince Rupert for many years she retired and moved to Campbell River in 1974.

She was very active in the Eagles, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Legion and the Moose. She also volunteered at the Yucalta Lodge for many years. One year she was named Campbell River’s “Senior Citizen of the Year”.

She is survived by her sons Don and Wayne Crowe, and her grandchildren Jerry, Gordon, Andrew, Steve and Catharine Crowe.

There will be a celebration of her life on Friday, October 4th, at 1:00p.m. at the Eagles Hall in Campbell River.
