It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Alan Daugherty on July 13, 2017.
Dave was born on October 30, 1957 in Windsor, Ontario and grew up in many places throughout Canada but finally settled in the Comox Valley in the early 90’s. Dave enjoyed the outdoors and spent many weekends camping at Comox Lake, fishing, hiking and exploring at the nearby beaches with his friends and family. Dave was employed as a journeyman cabinet maker for the past 30 years and took pride in his work. He was hardworking, dependable and was always there to lend a hand. Dave was a loving and caring person and always put others before himself. He was kind, understanding and always supportive. He had a unique and amazing sense of humor and was commonly the life of the party.
David is preceded by his father John and survived by his mother Christina; his children Jessica, Craig, Greggory and Shenise; his grandchildren Hailey Jade and Korbyn as well as numerous siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Dave will be greatly missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
