Grad Bowling is one Carihi grad events that allow graduating students to get together with their class and create lasting memories.

Approximately 40 students attended this year’s 1980s themed event on March 2 at Crystal Lanes.

“The Grad Bowling night was a great success!” said Carihi Grad Executive member, Julia Milutinovic. “Everyone who attended seemed to really enjoy themselves and everyone had a lot of fun!

Different people from all different social groups from around the school attended, which was awesome and it was great to see everyone dressed up and having a great time!”

Students paid $15 dollars to attend, which included bowling shoes and unlimited games of 10 pin bowling.

The event was organized by the school’s Grad Executive and supervised by several staff members.

Carihi’s Grad Executive is a group of 15 students elected by their classmates to represent the graduating class in the organization of all things grad-related.

They meet every Wednesday during lunch to discuss and plan events and activities as well as encourage their peers to participate and fundraise for their After Grad celebration in June.

Grad bowling was the second grad event to take place this school year, the first being the Grad Sleepover, which happened in December.

This event was also organized by the Grad Executive with help from parents and generous staff members who supervised through the early hours of the morning.
