The Wild Ravens lacrosse team had a successful weekend.

After winning their first two games in Victoria, the North Island Field Lacrosse U12 team continued their winning streak on the Robron Field in Campbell River this past Sunday.

The Wild Ravens played two games against the Parksville Buccaneers and took the lead early on in both games winning 19-6 in the first game and 19-2 in the second game.

The team played with lots of enthusiasm and demonstrated great sportsmanship.

Come and watch this young group of athletes compete for a place in this year’s provincial playoffs.

The Wild Ravens play at the Cowichan Sportsplex in Duncan this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and they are back playing in Campbell River on October 21 at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on the Robron Field.

The team would like to extend their appreciation to the referees, coaches and cheering crowd. Way to go Wild Ravens!
