The red hot REHN Enterprises Campbell River Atom A Tyees ended their season with an eight game win streak including a three day, five game sweep of the 2014 Fred Chomos Memorial Tournament in Seattle.

A 4-0 tournament record earned the Tyees a bye into the final where they met the Seattle Blue Admirals for a second time. Despite being short-handed for almost the entire first half of the game, the Tyees led 4-0 before Seattle could find the scoreboard.

Jacob Obuck was the game’s MVP with a short-handed, natural hat trick. Brian Majic put the game out of reach with a pair of third period goals to make the final score 6-1.  At the suggestion of several players, the team’s final hard hat of the year was given to head coach Craig Idiens for his tireless efforts all season.
