Teal Harle into the Men’s Slopestyle final in Pyeong Chang Winter Olympics

Campbell River’s Teal Harle is into the Men’s Slopestyle skiing finals after two strong runs, his second one in particular, left him in sixth place.

The top 12 qualify for the finals and Harle is in with a score of 91.2. He virtually qualified with his first run and a score of 88.00 but he didn’t stop there and improved in his second run leaving him in a very comfortable sixth place. Skiers take two runs and they count their best score .

Harle’s two runs were smooth and confident.

Fellow Canadians Evan McEachern and Alex Beaulieu-Marchand also qualified – McEachern with a high score of 87.80, giving him 11th place and Beaulieu-Marchand who nailed it in his second run with 94.20, leaving him in third place.

The finals are underway.
