Campbell River Skating Club was well represented last weekend at the Vancouver Island Regional Championships in Port Alberni.
New solos were presented with favourable performances at the first competition of the season:
- Blake Strachan: 1st – Senior Bronze Men.
- Tori-Lynn Temple: 2nd – Junior Silver.
- Carly Nightingale: 3rd – Senior Silver.
- Leana Tremblay: 5th – Junior Bronze, 13 & over.
- Savannah Wasden – 5th Senior Bronze.
- Megan Weber: 7th – Junior Bronze, 12 & under.
- Jenni Peniuk: 7th – Juvenile Women.
- Mia Rosa: 8th – Pre-Preliminary.
- Mairin Shields-Brown: 8th – Junior Bronze, 12 & under.
- Carla Atkinson: 12th – Junior Bronze, 13 & over.
- Samantha Clowes: Bronze Certificate – Performance.
