The Campbell River Salmon Kings finished off an outstanding season with great results at the 2013 Provincials in Coquitlam.

Jamilya Wellard completed an amazing season with a third place finish in the 50 Breast.  Welllard also had strong results in 100 IM (7th), 50 Fly (12th) and just missed the podium with a seventh place finish in 50 Free.

Olivia Carter finished with a 12th in 100 Fly, seventh in 200 IM, fitth in 100 Breast and seventh in 100 Free.

Jennifer Miller competed in the 200 IM (14th), 100 Fly (12th), 50 Fly (9th), and 100 Free (16th). Kate-Lynn Revoy competed hard and was 15th in 50 Fly. Kurtis Scriba finished up a very strong season with a 19th place finish in 50 Fly. Owen Wellard completed his season with a 22nd place finish in 200 IM, a 22nd Place in 50 Free and a 13th place in 50 Fly.  Brooke Wenger was competing in her first Provincials and placed 17th in 50 Fly and 21st in 50 Back. Summer Wenger placed strongly in her first Provincials with a 14th place in 50 Back and 19th in 100 IM.

The Division 3 Medley Relay squad of Jamilya Wellard, Brooke Wenger, Jessica Revoy and Rowan Flood finished a strong fifth in their heat. The Division 3 Free Relay squad of Jamilya Wellard, Brooke Wenger, Janika Scriba, and Flood finished a very strong 12th place.

This was a great year for all Salmon Kings as many swimmers also made finals at Regionals and had best times throughout the season. The Salmon Kings summer season runs from May through August.
