The Subway Peewee B Ravens has two impressive wins last weekend in the Vancouver Island lacrosse league.

The Ravens hosted Port Alberni on Saturday and dominated play in a 6-1 victory.

On Sunday, travelled to Victoria to take on Peninsula.

The Ravens got off to a quick start scoring three goals in the first period.

In the second, the Ravens ran into some penalty trouble, but strong defensive play and an offensive surge in the third led to a 9-2 victory for the Ravens.

Come out and cheer the peewee Bs next home game, on Sunday, 1:30 p.m., at Strathcona Gardens.

Peewee C

The Campbell River Ravens peewee C team played three times last weekend in Victoria.

On Saturday, the team lost to the Peninsula Warriors, but bounced back on Sunday with convincing 12-4 and 7-3 wins over the Saanich Tigers.
