The City of Campbell River’s Parks & Recreation Department is offering an Introduction to Geocaching course on Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sportsplex.

There will be a short classroom session to introduce the program, including how to track down the caches and what to do once you find them. The rest of the day will be spent outdoors hunting for some of the caches located around Willow Point Park. Come prepared to be outdoors and have fun.

Details on the app required for your phone are available at registration. If you have a GPS please bring it with you. Cost of the course is $25, and the program is open to anyone 16 years and older.

The registration deadline is June 3.
