The Campbell River Junior B Ravens are gearing up for another season in the Pacific Northwest Junior Lacrosse League.
The Ravens home opener is set for Sunday against the Westshore Bears Game time is 4 p.m. at the Rod Brind’Amour Arena.
The Bears are expected to have quality team on the floor as the club hosts the 2012 provincial championship in August.
The Ravens have a core of experienced players and a wealth of young talent as they head into this year’s campaign.
With Nanaimo being the Ravens’ closest opponent, and half the league based south of the Malahat, the Ravens are asking the fans to help out with expenses and cheering.
Admission to the game is $4 and all minor Ravens players get in free when they wear their jerseys.
