Teale Harle will train with the national slopestyle team.

Teal Harle, who will be the first graduate from Podium of Life Snow Sports Academy Whistler, has been invited to train with the Canadian Slopestyle Team again.

He will join fellow Whistler skiers, Taylor Wilson and Yuki Tsabota, in Calgary for the training camp.

Teal, still in Grade 12, has moved to Whistler, from the Island, in an effort to progress his freestyle passion.

He has been identified as one of the top five athletes to watch at the Canada Winter Games. He recently won the last two rail jams in Whistler, and placed 23rd at an international competition in Colorado.

Most of the time he is training or travelling to competitions, but when he is home in Whistler, he receives his education from his family’s school, Podium of Life Snow Sports Academy.

He has been one of the freestyle coaches at the Academy for the last two years.
