Both Campbell River Dragon Boat teams, River Spirit and Bravehearts, participated in the year end regatta held in Port Alberni on Sept. 25 at Sproat Lake. After racing in three 300m races, River Spirit took first place with a total time of 4:34:76, and the Bravehearts, who teamed up with Port Alberni’s team, Die Hards, came in second place with a total time of 4:45:60 minutes.
