The Campbell River Gymnastics Association duo of Quinn Kuschel-Ross and Liam Deagle helped Team BC to the gold medal in the Level 4 Open division and also brought home plenty of individual hardware in the 2015 Western Canadian Championships in Okotoks, Alberta, last week.
Both CRGA competitors won individual championships. Kuschel-Ross won the Western Canadian championship on the rings while adding a silver medal on the parallel bars and a bronze on the pommel horse.
Deagle won the Western championship on the floor exercise and finished seventh in the finals of the vault and 14th in the all-round competition.
The Western Canadian Championship was the final competition for the pair for the year and they will now begin preparing for next season.
