Try-outs for female Bantam A and Midget A hockey took place over two days last weekend. Campbell River will be hosting two zone female hockey teams this year. Last season there was no local Midget A team and four Campbell River girls travelled to Nanaimo to play with the North Island Extreme. The Extreme won the Island title in the Midget A league last year.
