CRCS girls reach best-ever provincial result

The Cougars were also named the most sportsmanlike team of the tourney

CRCS senior girls volleyball team placed ninth out of 16 teams at provincials this past weekend (best team placing ever for a CRCS team).

The Cougars were also named the most sportsmanlike team of the tourney with Kaitlyn Falk being named a second team all-star.

CRCS placed third in their pool after losing to Langley Christian and Cedars Christian who later were fourth and third overall. They beat A.L. Fortune which crossed them over to play a second place team – Carver Christian. Whom they took to five sets (best of 5), but lost in the fifth set 15-9.

CRC then beat Vernon Christian two straight in a best of three and Bulkley Valley Christian two straight, earning them the right to play in the B-side final against Mulgrave. They beat Mulgrave in three with the last set being 17-15 capping off an amazing season.
