Campbell River hosted a cross-country race last Wednesday at Campbell River Christian School.

Campbell River hosted a cross-country race last Wednesday at Campbell River Christian School. There were 130 runners from 16 schools as far away as Cowichan and Ladysmith.

Local medal winners included: Madison Devlin from Southgate who took first place in Grade 7/8 girls; Megan Nuttall from Phoenix who was second in Grade 9/10 girls; Melissa McAdan from Carihi who finished third in Grade 9/10 girls; Haven Ullstrom from Timberline was third in Grade 9/10 boys; Chyanne Trenholm from Timberline was second in Grade 11/12 girls and Kyle Fawkes of Timberline was third in Grade 11/12 boys.
