The Carihi Junior Boys Basketball team hosted the Vancouver Island Championships this past weekend and earned themselves a trip to the Provincials in Langley by finishing in second place.
The boys defeated St. Michaels University School in their first game 59 - 54, Mt. Douglas in game 2, 74 - 59, and were defeated in the final by Brentwood College, 69 - 41.
Quin Nelson and Jonah Shankar were named to the Allstar team. The boys travel to Langley this weekend and play W.J. Mouat in their first game Saturday morning.
