Carihi gymnasts win second place team award at high school provincials

Carihi and Timberline students that train at the Campbell River Gymnastics Association represented their schools at the high school gymnastics provincial championships.

Jasmine Duguay, Kamryn Brown, Jillian Frank and Ruby Nickoloff rounded out the Carihi team capturing the second place team award out of 40 participating schools. Leah Anderson represented Timberline. Duguay and Brown tied for eighth place in the All Around with Kamryn coming home with the Bronze medal on beam! The rest of the results are as follows.

High School level 3

Kamryn Brown captured the Bronze medal on beam, won the 4th place ribbon on floor, finished 19th on vault and 23rd on bars to come home in a tie for 8th place in the All Around.

Jasmine Duguay won 8th place ribbons on both vault and bars, finished 15th on floor and 19th on beam to come home in a tie for 8th place in the All Around.

Leah Anderson captured the 8th place ribbon on vault (tie) placed 13th on the floor, finished 20th on the beam and 22nd on bars to come home in 17th place in the All Around.

Jillian Frank captured a 5th place ribbon on bars, placed 29th on vault, beam and floor to come home in 29th place in the All Around.

Ruby Nickoloff placed 15th on both bars and floor, placed 27th on vault and finished 42nd on the beam to come home in 35th spot in the All Around.
