The action was intense Saturday as Campbell River Minor Baseball playoffs got underway.
The Dodgers’ Rio Mendes eyes third base while Morgan Hayward of the Red Sox awaits the throw – in the end it was too late as Mendes arrived safe. The Red Sox weren’t too put out, winning the game 12-8 in Bantam competition.
