Bantam Tyees off to a great start

Campbell River rep hockey team trounces Fort St. John in opening game of the B.C. championships in Trail

Grady McInnes scored five times to lead the Campbell River Tyees to a convincing 13-2 victory over Fort St. John in the opening game of the B.C. Tier 2 Bantam Hockey Championships.

The No. 1 Auto Body Bantam A Tyees scored seven times in the second period of Sunday's match to break the game open.

Gavin Rauser and Travis Goodwin also sparked Campbell River with four points apiece.

The Tyees are currently playing Burnaby Winter Club and wrap-up the preliminary round tonight in Trail with a game against the Westside Warriors.
