Aileen Barnes Busanic – I cannot express how disappointed I am with City Council over this rediculous decision. What were you thinking? You choose mowing park lawns, maintaining an unused cruis ship terminal and flower baskets for the downtown core over the lives of animals? You have lost many votes of confidence with this disastrous move.

Lynne Grant – I only support a select few charities and Campbell River SPCA is one of them. Where to donate now? I hate the Comox Valley branch.
Amber Brown – So obviously skate parks, kiddie water parks, Willow Point beautification, ‘Spirit Square’ and all these IMPORTANT needs are taken care of while the city turns its animal care facility into a POUND, what type of ‘good’ care does any sane person believe a $25,000 budget is actually going to be??? Keep planting flowers downtown to cover up the nightmare you created behind closed doors for powerless animals. Nicely done CR.
