On Friday, May 10 an article appeared in the Mirror announcing that the former Elk Falls Environmental Mascot, Doug the Bug had been lost.
I am pleased to announce that thanks to your readers, the missing microbe has been found. Looking a bit worn and tired, Doug is now undergoing a midlife refit and will soon be making appearances in the community. Doug’s plan is to give out homemade cookies for a donation to his favorite charity, The Ride to Conquer Cancer, sponsored by the BC Cancer Agency.
