I believe Councillor Larry Samson brings up a valid point.

I still see traffic making left-hand turns from 11th Ave. onto Dogwood St., and also left-hand turns onto the city bypass from the White Spot-Tim Horton’s complex. Both locations have concrete meridians in place to prevent this from happening, but with some people you simply cannot fix stupid.

A concrete meridian in front of the new development probably will not totally prevent left-hand turns, but at least it will be a good deterrent. Otherwise, it will certainly be a location waiting for a tragedy to happen.
