My husband and I had the privilege of visiting Cedar School recently.
I saw classrooms full of exciting learning opportunities and I saw children who were engaged, cooperative and respectful during a special event on the playground.
As a teacher, consultant, and author of Honouring the Child, I recognize that the staff at Cedar School lead the way in providing sound educational practices appropriate for elementary school age children.
Citizens of Campbell River can be proud of Cedar School. It is a jewel which could serve as an example for schools throughout the province.
