All the Campbell River seniors want for Christmas is a place of their own

Dear Santa: I haven’t written to you in many years to put anything on my wish list for Christmas

Dear Santa:

I haven’t written to you in many years to put  anything on my wish list for Christmas.

The Campbell River Seniors are without a place to call home. I feel that the seniors of Campbell River have been very good about accepting what we have. Since we lost our home in the Campbell River Common. I feel that the Senior Society just hasn’t been the same.

It feels like we are falling apart rather than coming together as a group so that we all can live each day to the fullest. We need to have a home of our own. We shouldn’t have to think what day is it and when do we meet today?

We are seniors, we like to socialize, play Bingo, go for lunches, play pool, yoga, line dance, do crafts, play cards and much more. We need to keep active and socialize, it’s important to our health and well being, so if you can help us out at all we would greatly appreciate it.
