Queen Grouchy passed away November 1, 2019 after fighting the "Evil C word" for several years. After numerous surgeries, her body gave out.
Yvonne is now off on a new adventure riding her horse at Nighthawk and playing with her dogs at The Rainbow Bridge.
She will be sadly missed by her Darling Gary who was the love of her life. They were rarely apart for the 33 years they were married.
Yvonne loved life, laughter, travel, good food and wine and of course her Furbabies of all kinds.
She never said no to travel or adventures. Yvonne had a wicked sense of humor, a biting wit and was never at a loss for words. She loved animals of all shapes and sizes and some of her happiest moments were with Max, Chakka and Shera and Izzy. The last few years she and Gary pet sat and loved the new furry faces to smooch.
Predeceased by her mother Reggie, Heinz and biological father and precious friends - Terry and Eileen.
Survived by her darling husband Gary, Brother Wayne and newest sister - Diane.
Yvonne and her friend Maida had the most awesomest adventures together over the years like running with bulls in Pamplona and nude sunbathing in Denmark, swimming with dolphins and dog sledding.
Thank you to the fabulous Dr. Marie Noel, Dr. Geller and the nurses and aides on 3B at the CR Hospital.
No service by request and in lieu of flowers please go and have some fun, drink the wine and plan that trip. Do all those things you have been putting off - life really IS short!
Donations may be made to the CR PAWS or ihelpedsaverescue.ca. - Dog Rescue.
