KONDO,

Yoshihide

July 20, 1911 - August 13, 2008

With much love we say farewell to Yoshi: our father, uncle, grandpa and great grandpa.

Yoshi was born in Vancouver, BC but lived in Japan from age 3 to 19.

He returned to Canada and worked as a logger in BC, a farmer in Alberta, and retired as a fisherman in Campbell River.

Yoshi had an eventful life and passed away peacefully at home at the good age of 97.

It is hoped that he is now reunited wiht his wife, Haru; her sister, Chiyo and Chiyo's husband, Kay and that he has moved on to his next adventure.

The family thanks Dr. Carswell for his good care and giving us a few more years with Yoshi. Also, our deepest gratitude to the wonderful nurses on the South Central team of Home Nursing - your help and guidance was much appreciated. No funeral by request. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.

Gone but never forgotten -

until we meet again.
