August 13, 2007

MACK,

William (Bill)

June 18, 1943-August 13, 2007

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather William (Bill) Mack. Taken suddenly and tragically from this world on August 13, 2007.

Bill graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1966, and enjoyed a long and successful career as a Professional Forester. He was a passionate model Rail Roader and a long standing member of the N.I. Model Railroader Club. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping, canoeing and trout fishing. He was a kind and gentle man and was respected and admired by his colleagues and those who were proud to call him a friend.

He was predeceased by his father Tommy Mack, mother Muncie Kollman and brother Ted Mack. Bill will be sorely missed by all who knew him and especially by his loving wife Doris, son Alan (Sadie), daughter Cheri Doney (Dean), son David (Charlotte), brother John Kollman (Margie), as well as his 8 grandchildren and many extended family members.

His love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared his love.

The Mack family invites you to join them in a Celebration of Life on Sunday, August 26th, at Oyster Bay Resort from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Casual dress.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
