It is with regret that we announce the passing of Wilf, on Friday, September 20th, 2002, at the Campbell River Hospital. He was born in 1927 at Morse, Saskatchewan. His family moved north in the 1930’s and settled near Makwa, Saskatchewan. He married Anne Raspier in 1951, left the farm and moved to Ocean Falls where he worked until 1965 when he transferred to Campbell River, where he retired in 1990. He was predeceased by his father Albert in 1938, his mother in 1985, sister Alma, brother Leonard, and sister Dorthy in 2002. He is survived by his loving wife Anne, sons David (Marilyn), Robert (Janel), daughters, Beverly (Allen) Thompson, Darlene (Wes) Cooper and numerous grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, September 24th, 2002 at the Baptist Church, interment at the Elk Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1423 B 16th. Ave., Campbell River, BC. V9W 2C4
