Wilfred Jr. (Wilfie) GAGNON
Wilfred J. (Wilfie) Gagnon passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7th, at 10:30pm at the Campbell River General Hospital. He was predeceased by his mother Rena Gagnon (June 12, 1997). He is survived by his father Wilf, brother Greg (Brenda), sisters; Susan (Al), Shannon (Shirley) and Melody, nieces; Stacey, Jenelle, Jaryn, and Rena Marie, nephews; Scotty and Justin, as well as many aunts, uncles and friends.
Wilfie was born in Kenora, Ont., on May 1, 1957. He went to school in Lundar, Manitoba and high school in Gillam, Manitoba. He worked in stores and was a licensed mechanic for Gagnon Motors for many years. He was a member of Campbell River Lions and Eagles. He was an avid pool player and played successfully in many tournaments.
A service will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11am at Sutton’s Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Campbell River Cancer Society.
