October 7, 1964 – June 15, 2013
We were devastated to lose our Wendy, a loving mom to Michael, a much loved daughter to Karen & Step-Dad Sal Salminen and daughter to Rudy & Step-Mom Rhonda Schmidt.
After an 8 month brave struggle against all odds, Wendy passed away at 8:45pm Saturday.
She will be greatly missed by her Aunty Louise & Uncle Wayne Smiley from Courtenay, cousins Don, Cheryl & Brian, spouses & children. Also Aunty Jeanette & Uncle Steve Osterreicher, cousins Ken, Bob, Elaine & David, spouses & children.
Wendy loved everyone at Passage View Motel who treated her so well.
A Celebration of Wendy’s Life will be held shortly.
