It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our father and grandfather, Wayne Nelson Christensen.
He passed away peacefully on October 11, 2014. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Gail in 2010, and his sister Elaine Hunter in 1985.
Wayne is survived by his sons, Nelson (Tracy) and Curt (Jackie) and his grandsons, Brody and Magnus. He is also survived by his brother Iner (Lillian) and his sister, Karen Horner (Pat) and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was born in Edson, AB and spent his early years in Nanoose Bay and then Campbell River.
He worked in the logging industry for Macmillan Bloedel Eve River Division for most of his working years, in the body shop. Upon retiring, he worked in his own auto mechanic shop (South End Repair). When he was younger, he was in the Posi-tracs car club and loved to snowmobile.
Wayne will be remembered for his great love for his family and his willingness to fix anything at any time for anyone.
