COOLEDGE

Wayne Harold

August 8, 1945 -

March 29, 2005

It is with great sadness we announce that on March 29, 2005, at the age of 59, Wayne passed away suddenly while in the comforting arms of his wife and children. Predeceased by his father Harold and brother-in-law Howard Spencer, Wayne is survived by his loving wife Carol, his children Jason (Carole), Marcia (Sam) Ghadban, Robert (D’arcy) Gillespie, Brenna Gillespie and Darren (Tricia), his mother Lorine, sisters Carol Ann Spencer and Ada (Larry) Ward, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and countless friends. Poppa will be sadly missed by his eight grandchildren: Tanesia, Lexi, James, Tomas, Jarrett, Caleigh, Kate and Timothy. Born in Elkhorn, Manitoba and raised in Fleming and Moosomin Saskatchewan, Wayne moved to the west coast in 1968, soon began selling heavy equipment and continued to successfully do so for the past 35 years. Wayne was passionate about and actively involved in the BC forestry industry and a proud member of the Truck Loggers Association. Wayne’s other passions included automobiles, riding his Harley, traveling, socializing with his many friends and keeping up with his grandchildren. Wayne valued his relationships with his family and friends above all else. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday April 3, 2005 from 1pm to 4pm at the Sequoia Springs Golf Club, 700 Petersen Road, Campbell River, BC. In lieu of flowers, Wayne would prefer that donations be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
